AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Developer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS services, automation, and DevOps best practices to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and scaling of cloud resources.
• Implement security best practices for cloud applications, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
• Work closely with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization through effective scaling strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
