TAEHWA is a South Korean multinational company headquartered in Busan, South Korea. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses. Taehwa was founded in 1982 by Won Ho Choi and he is the chairman of the company as well. Taehwa is a pioneer in BLDC motor technology. In India, Teahwa is one of the leading Electromechanical Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider companies. It has 6 companies and Research and Development Center in Korea and 13 companies in overseas countries. Taehwa was founded in Busan, South Korea in June 1982. Later then in Jan 1994 the company name changed to Taehwa from Taehwa Enterprises. In March 1997 company established their first subsidiary company Dongseo Electric in Korea. After this, the company moved forward in the next two years to open 2 new subsidiary company in Korea. In August 1998 Taixin Electric, April 1999 Hanam Electric established by Taehwa Enterprises. In July 1999 the company established their own Research and Development center in Korea. In August 2000 the company first came out of Korea and entered its presence globally when it established Taehang (Huizhou) in China. After that from the year 2000 to 2008 the company expanded itself in 8 countries, including Korea, China, Thailand, India, Mexico, Indonesia, Vietnam and Poland in a very short period of 8 years. During this period company opens their 9 new subsidiaries as TMC, Suzhou Taixin, Taehang Indonesia, Taehwa India, Thailand NewMotech, Thailand Hanam, NewMotech Mexico, Green Precision and Taehwa Mex.
