Our website is built on the Shopify platform, and we are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can also manage and maintain our Shopify website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a basic understanding of Shopify, and a passion for storytelling through visuals.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

Create, edit, and produce high-quality video content for our website, social media platforms, and marketing campaigns.

Develop engaging video content that aligns with Adventure Episode's brand identity and resonates with our audience.

Edit raw footage into polished videos, including adding graphics, animations, music, and sound effects.

Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm and execute video concepts.

Optimize videos for web and mobile viewing, ensuring fast loading times and high-quality playback.

Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and technologies.

Shopify Website Management:

Manage and maintain our Shopify-based website for Adventure Episode, ensuring it is visually appealing, functional, and up-to-date.

Upload and optimize video content on the website, including product videos, tutorials, and promotional content.

Customize Shopify themes and templates to enhance the website's visual appeal and user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs related to video integration on the website.

Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure the website reflects our brand identity and goals.

Monitor website performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Basic knowledge of Shopify, including theme customization and content management.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus but not required.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Passion for adventure, travel, or outdoor exploration is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects).

Knowledge of SEO best practices for video content.

Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.

Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for web design.
