The Executive Producer (“EP”) is a member of the global Information & Content Experience team, one of Microsoft’s most dynamic international business groups. THE EP IS THE PRIMARY DRIVER OF AUDIENCE ACQUISITION, ENGAGEMENT AND CREATING A LOYAL FANBASE The EP is ICE’s leader of the local markets and the face of MSN in meetings with partners, advertisers and business, both internal and external. This is a role that covers multiple MSN markets in India, Arabia and South Africa, and the Executive Producer will be required to work across the differing time zones and to spend time with the teams in each market. The role will be based in Delhi. The EP’s primary goal is to drive audience growth and user engagement; increase the number of new and returning users; engaging users to extend the frequency of their use of our products and the time they spend with those products; increase web page views, video views, and page views per unique user; ensure our apps reach a wider audience and are respected as being “best in class” products. The EP manages the local editorial teams and support staff, works closely with product managers, and interacts regularly with multiple teams in different disciplines - from engineers to marketers - across the region and across numerous Microsoft business groups. The EP is responsible for the working closely with other disciplines to maintain the availability of our products and the quality of their content is of the highest standard (eg. text, audio, images, video, data) for ICE’s Windows applications (eg. News, Sports, Travel…) and on multiplatform devices (eg. PC, tablet, phone) and on the web. The EP is responsible for product quality, availability, and user experience; for the people and organizational processes associated with the content in our products; for ensuring a close partnership with our advertising teams to ensure revenue targets are met. The EP is the primary connection with content and data partners from the on- and offline media in the market, leads business development on content partnerships and represents ICE at a national level within the industry. The EP is responsible for managing the budgets for people and for content, working closely with a Business Manager, and for supporting the monetization and business goals of the Advertising & Online team working closely with them to deliver products that generate strong revenue. The EP will work closely with the local Advertising & Online (“A&O”) team, and participate as a key member of that group’s leadership team. The EP is responsible for developing and executing a content plan in synch with the overall business plan, as defined by the ICE leadership team. The EP leads the local acquisition of content and data aligned to the overall ICE goals and leverages locally the international content relationships made at a global level. The EP will be expected to be up to date with new industry trends, competitor activity and aware of the emergence of engaging new products in the market. The EP will work with key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage new products or surpass competitor initiatives and make recommendations for wider ICE action. The EP is expected to drive change throughout the organization, identifying key change initiatives to streamline content development, publishing and business operations. The EP is also expected to play a major role in the development of the market team, encouraging them to be engaged, to take advantage of trainings and to contribute at all levels in order to further their career path. Key Responsibilities ? Lead ICE in India, Arabia and South Africa: manage the editorial team and work closely with program managers ? Deliver “best in class” high-quality content experiences on Windows devices and the web ? Build audience and engagement and support monetization of product inventory ?
