Overview: Datamar India is looking for experienced and skilled Admin, HR & Finance Controller who can coordinate office operations and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. Datamar India is a data and market intelligence provision company working in the maritime and foreign trade sector with a focus on the East Coast of South America. The company partners with major transport companies such as ship and port operators to gather, process and distribute data that helps organizations make decisions on strategic, commercial and operational matters. Responsibilities: Admin, HR & Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the full range of maintaining and enhancing the organizations Administration, Finance and Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. Admin, HR & Finance Controller will also be part of the senior management team and will have the opportunity to bring an HR and Administrative perspective to the organisation. Administration: Oversee office in maintaining files and centralized databases Manage office facilities administration Serves as the go-to for office inquiries and conflicts Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes Manage schedules and deadlines Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constrains Organise and supervise other office activities Human Resources: Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation Plan, implements, and manages the human resources function, including recruiting, employee relations, regulatory compliances, benefits, staff developments, and employee communications Investigates employee relations issues such as disciplinary and grievances Effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, programs and laws organization wide Finance: Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analysing variances. Monitor cost and expenses, maintenance activities and tradespersons Responsible for Capital & Expense budget Tracking budget expenses Manage day to day finances, make payments to vendors and service providers. Coordinate with outsourced accountancy service, in regards to payroll management, and other financial matters. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of related experience Strong working knowledge of and experience in Indian labour law and local regulations Proven experience as administration management, supervisory, budgeting skills Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Proven ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines Outstanding organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles Proficient in MS Office An analytical mind with problem-solving skills A team player with leadership skills This is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated professional.
