MAIN OBJECTIVES & PURPOSE : Responsibilities: Provide Technical / Development support on Core banking application ( Atlas2 / Infocenter) Provide support for various Projects impacting Atlas2 Design , Develop and testing of application components required for Core Banking Provide Level3 production support for Incidents Ensure ease of maintenance and knowledge retention through proper documentation of project deliverables as per ISPL policies Establish regular communication channels with supervisor and peers through weekly progress report , fortnightly team meeting and regular professional contact. Ensure IT deliverables have proper quality control through unit /integration test Contribute to the bank information security through the adherence of security and compliance policies where applicable. Internal : Customer o Users and IT teams across all Functions & M tiers across all regions. Supplier o Main internal suppliers are Paris Atlas2assistance (RBIS) who supplies the standard version of Atlas2. o CIB BPCB who provide functional guidance for various Atlas2 modules. KEY RESULTS AREAS : Performance for this position will be measured mainly from the following tasks /activities: o Active participation and team work within Core Banking IT team o Strong and professional working relationship with internal customers and internal suppliers. o Delivery of Enhancements / Projects on time and budget maintaining consistent quality. o Project support in line with the defined budget , schedule and quality o Contribution to the bank information security through the adherence of security and compliance policies where applicable. Essential Technical Knowledge /Skills : 2 -3 years of development experience in COBOL , Oracle (SQL & PL /SQL) , Unix Shell Scripting (Mandatory) Experience of working Unikix /CICS ( desirable) Experience in any scheduling management tool like Unicenter / Autosys (desirable) Experience in PERL scripting will be added advantage Experience of working in Banking / Financial projects / applications(desirable) Exposure to any configuration management tool like CVS , Serena (desirable) Exposure to tools like JIRA , Clarity , ServiceNow (desirable) Qualifications and Experience : BE Computers / Bachelor of Science 2 to 3 years of experience in reputed IT organization / Investment Bank Other Value -added Competencies : Good communication skill , both spoken and written Good interpersonal skill Strong will to succeed and overcome challenges Self driven and independent , with good initiative.
