Role Summary/Purpose: Manufacturing Process & Equipment Engineer - Electrical/ Electronics Driving process and product quality rigor Design, develop and deploy technology solutions Drive excellence through new processes and methods that will significantly improve product quality, safety and reduce product cost Essential Responsibilities : SOLVE: Drive improved product quality by o A) Identifying manufacturing challenges related to equipment, processes & methods o B) Developing manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation. Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design CONTROL: Monitor and improve processes and productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner DESIGN TRANSFER: Develop and own manufacturability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs. Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development and QMS Design Transfer execution COMPLIANCE: Ensure regulatory compliance through Production Process controls, Qualification & Validation. Responsible for ensuring rigor in determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria and final analysis and acceptance.
