Role Summary/ Purpose: The LCS- Diagnostic Cardiology business has a key product development center in JFWTC, Bangalore India to design & develop products and subsystems for Diagnostic Cardiology Product Portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cross- functional, cross- cultural R&D team as a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on design detailing and drafting for diagnostic cardiology product development. Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to) : - Produce drawings, layouts, and/ or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, design concepts and/ or verbal instructions - Work with Engineers to capture and produce a design that captures all product requirements for either new or existing products - Use computer assisted design/ drafting equipment and software to develop product designs and product maintenance. - Verify that all drawings convey accurate information - Working with more senior engineers to develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability - Ensure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints, bills of materials, and related product specifications to allow successful transfer to manufacturing - Coordinate procurement of prototype material as well as oversee the build and verification of design - May work on design projects that reduce the cost of the product, as well as, designing necessary equipment or fixtures that are needed during the new product development cycle or with installed base products - Comply with EHS regulations and policie Salary: Not Disclosed by Recruiter Industry: IT-Software / Software Services Functional Area: Engineering Design , R&D Role Category:Engineering Design Role:Design Engineer Desired Candidate Profile Education- UG: B.Tech/B.E.
