Role Summary/ Purpose: The program manager for SAP project systems will lead IT related initiatives and projects in the project finance and engineering functions globally. This includes overall ownership of Project Systems, Kronos, and Primavera integrations and related functionality. The individual will work closely with business and IT partners to provide strategic planning, manage complex issues, provide subject matter expertise, and ensure solutions meet business requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Manage, enhance, and implement the global blueprint for Project Systems. Own the global blueprint for Project Systems, reviewing and approving all changes related to project systems and related interfaces including SAP finance, controlling, SD, MM, PP, and HR modules and existing integrations with other systems. Manage, enhance, and implement Kronos time and attendance integrations and the relationship with the Corporate Workforce Management center of excellence (COE) . Manage, enhance, and implement Primavera P6 integrations and the relationship with the P6 center of excellence (COE) . Facilitate blueprinting and design sessions and functional requirements gathering. Be the solution delivery expert for the design, implementation, and testing of changes along with the schedule, scope, quality, and resourcing requirements. Manage & mentor developers & continuously review development to ensure the most efficient / optimized solutions are implemented. Hold review sessions with business leaders highlighting schedule, budgets, and risks Be accountable for operational excellence of assigned programs including project reviews, feasibility, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure. Understand complex business requirements & propose elegant & simplified solutions. Own and maintain documentation for design standards and ensure conformance to system architecture, standards, general IT controls, and best practices Stay current with enabling technologies and work as a partner and change agent to gather support and promote their implementation and use. Determine the root cause of issues & implement efficient remedies. Maintain working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization. Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve problems for the business.
