Position Purpose : To identify and provide medium-term and long-term investment opportunities to investors based on Fundamental Analysis of Sector / Company. Position : Research Analyst (Fundamental) Location Mumbai Reporting to Head Research Specific Responsibilities Analyse fast-growing and fundamentally sound publicly traded Mid- and Small-cap companies with the intention of identifying good investment ideas for clients. Maintaining an extensive coverage list of companies and keep track of all the developments in those companies and / or sectors Conducting in-depth fundamental / financial analysis of companies and making Financial Models for the same along with financial forecasting for the next 2-3 years Frequently writing reports based on findings / developments and authoring reports containing actionable recommendations Reading industry journals, newspapers, magazines and online resources to remain updated with market / sector developments and updating clients Contributing to various research related activities / reports Working in close co-ordination with other team members Key Performance Indicators 2-3 research-based investment ideas every month A good strike rate of the investment ideas given Pro-active contribution to all research related activities APPLICANT PROFILE Experience3-4 years of relevant experience Technical Competencies / SkillsGood understanding of the sectors / companies under coverage Appropriate interpretation of financial statements (Balance Sheet / P&L, Cash Flows, etc.) Good understanding of Financial ratios used for analysing businesses Strong analytical, written, presentation and communication skills Diverse business and economic knowledge Expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience of having worked on s oftwares like Capital Line and Bloomberg.
