Key Responsibilities Create engineering specification documents from product requirement documents written by product managers Design and develop new features from the engineering specifications for Identity Management solution on various platforms Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain the software products Unit test newly developed code Work with quality assurance engineers on test cases and testing tools Provide accurate estimations on the time it will take for development of the product or enhancement Efficiently communicate ideas to other software developers as well as managers, quality assurance engineers, and documentation team across geographies Work with technical support on customer issues and provide feasible solutions in a timely fashion Follow build and bug tracking processes for source code management, such as check-in, checkout, branching, merging; as well as bug tracking management. Follow software development guidelines including design spec, structured code design, sufficient code comments, code review, etc. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Skills and Experience Required Bachelors/Master degree holder in CS / EE (or related field) from a reputed university 3-6 years of software development experience with at least 2 years of Java programming experience. Object Oriented analysis, design and development skills Should possess troubleshooting, problem solving and debugging skills. Experience with one or more of technology areas among Angular JS, Web Services (REST/SOAP), J2EE, Application Servers, Databases, Reporting framework, Eclipse Framework, XML is desirable. Experience with any of the Design tools, version control tools, bug tracking & testing tools is desirable. Experienced in working with geographically dispersed teams across time zones is desirable Well versed with all the stages of the software PLC Experience in Identity Management domain is NOT a must.
